  • How do I send out a HTML Newsletter?

Posted on December 23rd, 2009 admin 2 comments

Ok well my boss wanted me to me to make a newsletter. So I coded one up in notepad using some images from ‘My Documents’. Now I want to send out that newsletter using Outlook 2007. I copy and paste it into the email and send it out but it shows up as the html.

Another thing I just thought of… do I have to have those images in ‘My Documents’ out on a website, or hosted somewhere?

    • First, bring up the web page in Interenet Explorer by double-clicking on it.
Second, once the web page is completely displayed in Internet Explorer, press CTRL+A (this will select the entire document).
Third, press CTRL+C (this will copy the document into memory.
Fourth, Open up a new email in Outlook.
Fifth, When the cursor is in the body of the email, press CTRL+V to paste the newsletter into the email.

Why didn’t you just do the entire newsletter in Outlook 2007 and insert the images where needed? You could have inserted other objects, too. Then all you had to do is put one email address in the “To:” window and all the rest of the email addresses in the “BCC:” window and click “Send”.

Lot simpler than doing it any other way.
